Originally a small radio orchestra, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra enjoys increasing acclaim for its concerts, Grammy Award-winning recordings and festival appearances around the world. When political borders opened for the first time in 2009, American audiences delighted in the ensemble's magnificent debut, which prompted the orchestra's first U.S. tour. Artistic Director and distinguished conductor Neeme Javri brings flair and finesse to the evening and offers special insight into centuries of masterful Baltic orchestral tradition.
