2009 College of Humanities International Film Festival
Monday Nov 2nd, 2009 - Monday Nov 2nd, 2009
9:00 AM - 10:00 PM / Armer Screening Room (ASR)
The 2009 College of Humanities International Film Festival will take place on November 2, 2009 from 9am to 10pm in the Armer Screening Room in Manzanita Hall. The theme of this year's festival is: Race, Privilege, Exclusion. This year's focus on race helps create a community of learners who critically explore and reflect on how privileges and exclusions function in a racially diverse society. This year we are screening a film directed and produced by a CSUN faculty member, Dr. Marta Lopez-Garza on the implicit exclusions in the challenges facing formerly incarcerated women entitled, When Will the Punishment End?
