Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master and Tony Award nominee Branford Marsalis is one of the most revered instrumentalists of his time. He has led a dizzying array of jazz ensembles from big bands to quartets, and has been a frequent soloist with classical ensembles. He has performed and recorded with Sting and the Dave Matthews Band; acted in films including Throw Mama From the Train and School Daze; composed the soundtrack for films such as Mo Better Blues; and was the original bandleader for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Live jazz doesnt get any livelier when this much-anticipated group - one of the most innovative and forward-thinking jazz ensembles today - takes the stage.
