Flamenco Vivo! embodies all the passion, grace and fire that we have come to expect from this exciting art form, but under Paco Penas direction the audience becomes aware of the nuances, the range of rhythms, and the compelling nature of flamenco. Pena explores the trance-inducing tribal roots of flamenco, from the alborea to the razor-sharp complexity of the buleria all while keeping the audience captivated with dramatic compositions, fantastic guitar work, and fiery dancers.
