Since 1919, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has sustained its presence as a world-class, globetrotting orchestra that has amassed an enviable reputation for excellence. This distinguished Canadian orchestra, led by Maestro Tovey, won a 2008 Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (with Orchestra).
