8:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Great Hall

The Mavericks are back! The Grammy Award-winning post-modern country-steeped garage band makes their debut on our Great Hall stage with a presentation of songs from its new release In Time, as well as some of its most popular hits.

Formed in the early 1990’s and led by Cuban American frontman Raul Malo, the band carved its own brand of music on the American music landscape with a melting pot of music styles. Mariachi, Tejano, rock, pop, Cubano tinges and even touches of rockabilly are all wrapped in country-flavored tones to create the group’s unique and indelible sound.

With this performance, the band celebrates 20 years of performing the music they love, as well as their first studio project In Time, since disbanding in 1999.
