Smart Classrooms - General Information

Smart Classrooms creates a new opportunities in teaching and learning by integrating networking, digital, and audio visual technologies. There are 23 Smart Classrooms in the College of Business and Economics.
Please note that you will need access to these rooms and a key access to the 'black box' that house the electronic devices. COBAE Faculty may obtain Smart Classroom's Black Box key form the Associate Deans Office, 818-677-2466, other faculty will need to contact Room Reservation, (818) 677-3283 or their department office

Smart Classrooms are equipped with the follow devices;
Ceiling mounted projector, remote is located inside the black box drawer.
Desktop Computer Dell GX755 - with wireless keyboard and mouse.
External VGA connection for notebook users
DVD/VCR combo unit
Sound Amplifier
Telephone
Wacom Tablet for desktop use

Using the Smart Classroom's Desktop requires you to use your campus account. If you do not have an account please contact the Campus Helpdesk at 818-677-1400 or helpdesk@csun.edu
*Very, Very Important*
Please return the wireless mouse to its charging cradle and make sure it is indicating a charge. Leaving the wireless mouse uncharged will render it useless for the next user. It is your responsibility to turn off any equipment and lock the black box before leaving the room.
