California State University, Northridge is proud to serve as the partner for the US-based cohort of Grenoble Business School's DBA program.

The DBA has become recognized as an important path to advanced personal and professional development. It is suitable for experienced managers and for those interested in advanced study beyond a Master's Degree or MBA. As a professional practice doctorate the DBA is equivalent to a PhD but, the emphasis is on applied rather than theoretical research.

Students are recruited from around the word, and come from a wide variety of countries and career backgrounds. Participants typically have attained significant professional achievement.

Supervising Faculty are individually matched to each DBA candidate and are respected professors from Grenoble Ecole de Management, California State University, Northridge, or another accredited partner University.

Program Schedule and Format: executive-style in-person format, with individual and collaborative work between workshops

  • Workshop 1: 1 week residence in Grenoble
  • Workshops 2 - 6: 3 day weekends in March, June and November, in Los Angeles
  • Workshop 7: 1 week residence in Grenoble

Admission Qualifications: Candidates hold a Master’s degree in business/management (MBA, MA, MS or equivalent) or a related discipline from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 3 years professional experience.
