The College of Business and Economics is strongly committed to the improvement of student learning through assessment of our undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
Our assessment process facilitates data-driven program improvement. Each degree program has learning goals that are derived from stakeholder input (i.e., faculty, students, employers, and alumni). Student achievement of the program learning goals is continually measured. Data is collected from course embedded measures (e.g., exams, case analysis, or projects) and stand alone measures (e.g., CSU-Business Assessment Test and Lower-division Core Exams). This data is analyzed and the results are used to implement program improvements.
Our assessment reports show how the College of Business and Economics is monitoring and improving student learning through direct (i.e., embedded and stand alone) measures and stakeholder feedback.
