Join us for "Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders & Health Policy" to discuss the role of health policy and advocacy in improving the lives of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The talk will be led by Lisa Hasegawa, UCLA Asian American Studies Center Activist In-Residence Fellow. Ms. Hasegawa earned her bachelor's degree in Asian American Studies at UCLA, before earning her Master of Public Health at Harvard. She served as the Community Liason for the White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders under the Clinton Administration. For the past 15 years, she has served as the Director of the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD).
