Bookstein Tax Clinic - About Us

Mission Statement
The mission of the Bookstein Tax Clinic is to provide pro bono representation to low income taxpayers facing tax disputes with the IRS, and to educate low income taxpayers and taxpayers who speak English as a second language about their rights and responsibilities under the federal tax system.

The Bookstein Tax Clinic represents low income taxpayers who face controversy with the IRS, and provides tax outreach and education, within the Greater Los Angeles community.  The Clinic's services are completely free.  The Clinic is open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and is closed on CSUN holidays.

If you need assistance in filing your taxes and have no other issues, please contact CSUN VITA

Although the Bookstein Tax Clinic receives funding from the IRS, the clinic, its employees, and volunteers are not affiliated with the IRS. A taxpayer’s decision to utilize services from the Bookstein Tax Clinic will not affect the taxpayer’s rights before the IRS. The Bookstein Tax Clinic does not generally provide tax return preparation services.
