Biology Donor Tree

Donate a Leaf or Acorn to The Biology Donor Tree:

The Donor Tree offers permanent recognition of the generous supporters of the Biology Department and is located in the outside display case prominently displayed along the front of Chaparral Hall on the campus of California State University, Northridge.

Donation of $1000 for an engraved leaf, or $5000 and above for an engraved acorn, will go toward the Biology Endowment/Scholarship Fund. Many alumni and parents of students have donated to the Tree, as well as those honoring the memory of faculty, staff, students, parents or friends.

Biology Alumni Information:

The Biology Department is extremely proud of the wide variety of special opportunities that we have provided students over the years. Your former department has allowed students to conduct hands-on lab and field research, been at the forefront in the latest biotechnologies, taken clusters of students to Santa Catalina Island or the tropics (Costa Rica and Ecuador), and provided research support unmatched by other universities. We want to continue and build on this tradition. To do so, we would like to assess what our former students have accomplished post-graduation.
