Course Description:
This one-unit seminar develops and practices individual leadership skills through a focal leadership experience chosen by each student. Diagnostic instruments, readings and group discussion will supplement the leadership experience to help students identify their individual strengths and challenges as well as the development of concrete programs for improve both. Assignments will also be directed toward practicing student written and verbal communication skills.

This class will meet on the following Mondays from 11:00am-1:30pm in JH 3107 (1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/10, 3/24, and 4/7)
Course Description:
This one-unit seminar will bring as many as six prominent business executives to campus to meet with business honors students. Each meeting will last 2-3 hours, during which the executives will present a topic related to their business and be available for questions about the challenges of running their business and factors critical to their success. As part of developing interviewing skills, students will practice skillful preparation for such meetings, the etiquette of questioning business leaders, and the skill of reflective writing. Assignments will include readings about current leadership challenges relevant to the visiting executive's industry.
