This class will meet on the following seven Mondays from 7:30am-9:30am in JH 3107 (1/26, 2/9, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23, 4/20, and 5/4)
Course Description:
This one-unit seminar will bring as many as six prominent business executives to campus to meet with business honors students. Each meeting will last approximately 2 hours, during which the executives will present a topic related to their business and be available for questions about the challenges of running their business and factors critical to their success. As part of developing interviewing skills, students will practice skillful preparation for such meetings, the etiquette of questioning business leaders, and the skill of reflective writing. Assignments will include readings about current leadership challenges relevant to the visiting executive's industry.

Course Description:
This one-unit seminar examines marketing communication strategies employed in the 2008 Presidential elections. Course readings, research and group discussion will help students analyze the effectiveness of various marketing communication strategies. Assignments will allow students to use their creativity and refine their written and verbal communication skills.
