Admission Requirements
To apply for admission to the Honors Program, students must meet the following minimum requirements:
For first-time Freshman Applicants, there are two options: one based on grades, the other on most recent SAT scores
1. GPA: A cumulative high school GPA of 3.7, OR
2. SAT: Combined Math, Verbal, and Writing score of 1950
Any College Student Applicant must have a minimum college GPA of 3.5
- Submit a completed application (Download Application Form) to the Business Honors Program, including
two letters of recommendation (at least one academic) (Download Recommendation Form)
- Application Deadlines:
- Spring semester:
- October 1 to guarantee registration for honors & business sections
- December 1 to guarantee registration for honors sections only
- Fall semester:
- May 1 to guarantee registration for honors & business sections
- July 1 to guarantee registration for honors sections only
- Spring semester:
- Be interviewed by the Business Honors Program Selection Committee

Business Honors Seminars. Each student must successfully complete a minimum of 3 one-unit seminars: |

Each student must successfully complete 9-12 additional units of designated Business Honors courses. These courses may be elective or core classes. The following upper-division core classes are usually offered for honors students annually: |

Additionally, students must maintain a 3.50 minimum cumulative grade point average to fulfill the BHP requirements and receive the Business Honors designation on their transcripts. |
