Finance Department
The more funding available, the more our association can provide value
to its members. The Finance Department’s purpose is to strengthen our
association’s financial position so that we may leave a robust organization
to the next generation. We achieve a stronger financial position by developing
fundraisers, soliciting donations and maximizing funding. Our department’s goal
is to use the resources available to us so that our members can experience outstanding
events and opportunities that will impact their futures.
The most important role of this department is to be a good
steward of the two funds made available to us through CSUN’s
Associated Students. The department is responsible for developing and proposing
a budget to the Associated Students Finance Committee on an annual basis.
This budget is composed of the monthly analytics used by the department.
We also manage expenditure and deposits requests, set budgets for each event,
keep others accountable for their spending, and fundraise to replace funds that have
been used. Please email
