The Associated Students (A.S.) Sport Clubs program gives men and women an opportunity to participate in regional and national competitive sports and games as well as recreational activities. The program is designed to allow each CSUN student a chance to participate in a sport club individually or as a member of a team.
Each club is formed, developed, governed and administered by student members. Student leadership, interest and participation are essential elements of a successful sport club.
Sport Clubs Athletic Training
The Sport Clubs Athletic Training Department aids the prevention, management and rehabilitation of injuries sustained while participating in sport clubs.
The department provides high-quality health care in a comprehensive and educationally progressive atmosphere. A certified athletic trainer, who works with the Klotz Student Health Center and other allied health professionals, works to meet the needs of each participant. Once a participant has been evaluated by the athletic trainer, treatment and care is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Participants are encouraged to make appointments with the athletic trainer by calling (818) 677-7008 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, CSUN ID number, sport club, availability and a brief description of the injury. Those with appointments will be given priority over walk-in participants.
The Sport Clubs athletic training room is located in Plaza del Sol (adjacent to the Plaza Pool) within the University Student Union (USU). See the clinic hours below, which may vary depending on practice schedules.
