Live Music by Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-Fonics
Marking the ten-year anniversary of the death of Von Dutch, this unprecedented exhibition celebrates the renowned Southern California pop culture artist known for his pinstriping, sign painting, machining, engraving, and mechanical skills. This will be the most comprehensive collection of original works by Von Dutch ever assembled. A corollary exhibition in the West Gallery, Dutched!, will include the work of approximately twenty artists from California and abroad, including Peter Alexander, C.R. Stecyk III, Jim Shaw, Ed Big Daddy Roth, Robert Williams, Charles Krafft, Mark Ryden, Shag, Steve Stanford, Nicola Wood and Linda Barkkarie. Following its debut at CSUN, the exhibition will be going to the Grand Center Art Center at CSU Fullerton from December 7th through January 26th, 2003. This exhibition is co-curated by Copro-Nason Gallery and Tornado Design, Los Angeles. Sponsors of this exhibition include Anderson Printing, Andresen Digital, Autographics, Primary Color, Sappi Fine Paper North America, Spicers Paper Inc.; as well as CSUNs Instructionally Related Activities Committee, The Associated Students, the Arts Council, the Department of Art, and the College of Arts, Media, and Communication.
