ART EDUCATION

Every elementary and secondary art teacher in California is expected to teach visual art based upon the California Visual and Performing Arts Framework and Content Standards. The Art Education program at CSUN is anchored in these discipline-based content standards. Pre-service students seeking either a multiple subject elementary credential or a single subject credential in secondary art can take undergraduate art education and studio art courses as part of our Art Education program.
