Meiqin Wang (王美钦), Ph.D. specializes in modern and contemporary Chinese art and teaches Asian art history courses. Her courses address the cultural and political context of Asian arts. Her dissertation and published materials focus on social and institutional frameworks of Asian contemporary art in a global context. Her research interests include: modern Chinese art, contemporary Chinese art, contemporary art of the Asian world and international exhibitions.
