Born in Los Angeles, California, Lesley Krane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in 1991 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque in 1995. Since August 1999, she has been teaching Photography in the Art Department at California State University Northridge. Committed to the practice of still photography, Lesley teaches her students to have a reverence and sensitivity for the medium. She actively exhibits her work at local and national venues.
