STUDENT SPOTLIGHT :

JEREMY DIPAOLO

Jeremy DiPaolo
BA
Emphasis: Graphic Design

The fact you are reading this short (for once) biography is a testament to what happens when one gives their life over to chance.  Jeremy originally began school as a Cinema-Television major, having acted on stage/T.V. and directed stage for nearly a decade.  He is a three-time national champion speaker through the Phi Rho Pi collegiate speech and debate circuit.  It was only through a series of scheduling mishaps that he ended up in Professor Trujillo's animation class, and again in Professor Kelley's graphic design class.  A constant headache to his advisers, and a sometime headache to his professors, Jeremy continually did things backwards and pushed against the grain as much as possible.  It was this attitude, combined with his found love of design and determination to lose as much sleep as possible that pushed his work to the level it is today.  Jeremy has recently finished tenure as President of the Student Advertising Grahpics Association, and is currently working overtime at his second favorite place to be, Meat and Potatoes, Inc. (a nine-person design machine in Burbank).  He would very much like to thank for their guidance and support all of the faculty and staff of the Art Department, as they have crafted (and continue to craft) an outstanding program.  Special thanks to Dave, Jim, Joe, Magdy, Paula, Barbara, Jung, Silva, Dana, Mari, Jane, and Svet.  The work you see is a small sampling of my most recent attempts at making something exciting.
