I undertook a systematic study of Neolithic and later collections from
northwest Africa and the Iberian peninsula at the following museums:

in Algeria, the Bardo Museum (Algiers) and the Demaeght Museum (Oran);
in France, the Musée de l'Homme (Paris); in Spain, the archaeological
