Purpose of the Registration Guide
The purpose of the Schedule of Classes (SOC) Registration Guide is to provide information resources to enroll in classes successfully each term; advise you of current deadlines, registration system features, enrollment requirements and effective practices; and summarize academic policies pertaining to enrollment.

Dates and Events

- May 26 - August 18: Summer Term 2009
- June 5: Last day to add or drop classes for Summer Sessions 1 and 2.
- June 13: EPT & ELM Tests. View upcoming Test Dates. Students may register online for tests taken at CSUN.
- June 23: Fall 2009 Registration-by-Appointment begins. Nonrestrictive Registration begins July 20.
- July 3: Independence Day Holiday (observed); campus closed. No Saturday classes July 4.
- July 7: Summer Session 2 ends.
- July 8: Summer Session 3 begins. Late Registration through July 17.
- July 10: Last day to apply for Spring or Summer 2010 graduation. $10 late fee thereafter.
- August 21: Last day to confirm awarding of Bachelor's Degree for Spring 2009.
- August 24: Fall 2009 weekday classes begin. Saturday classes begin August 22.
