Add a Class - Summer Appointment / Enrollment

This is a tutorial only. No log in is required.

Introduction

This guide explains how to set your own registration appointment to enroll in summer classes and return to add classes or adjust your schedule. All students may follow these steps to register for summer classes.

For summer registration dates and policies, visit the website for your student group below:


Step 1

Log into myNorthridge at www.csun.edu with your
CSUN User ID and Password.

Step 2

Your myNorthridge home page displays.

In My Checklist under Registration, click the Summer Appt/Enrollment link.

  • If you are eligible to enroll in summer as a new or continuing CSUN student, SOLAR will automatically issue you the next available registration appointment.
  • If you are not eligible to enroll in summer as a regular CSUN student, a message will display directing you to register for classes through The Tseng College.

After you've created your summer registration appointment and your time to register arrives, click Summer Appt/Enrollment to add classes.

Return as often as you like during the published registration periods.

Step 3

You are now in the SOLAR Student Center.

The Summer Appt/Enrollment link displays in the Academics section under Enrollment.

The registration system SOLAR will automatically recognize you as a CSUN student or a visitor.
