Most Summer Classes
The majority of summer classes are offered through The Tseng College of Extended Learning. Different rules, deadlines and fees may apply to students enrolling in summer courses through The Tseng College. Learn more at http://summer.csun.edu.
STAY RIGHT HERE and use the guidelines in this Summer Term Bulletin if you are admitted to one of the five special year-round cohort programs listed below.
Special Year-Round Cohort Programs
You may enroll in summer classes that are part of a special cohort program if you're eligible. Eligibility is based on having been formally admitted to the program or, for Strong Start Freshman Connection, having a qualifying Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) placement test score.
The five year-round cohorts offering summer courses are:
- Strong Start Freshman Connection (UNIV 100 with either Math 092 or Math 099)
- Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A-BSN)
- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
Please note: Permission numbers are required to enroll in all Summer 2013 special year-round cohort courses at all times. Please contact your program advisor for assistance.
Class Search
Browse the summer Schedule of Classes using Class Search. No login is required.
To look up your cohort classes in Class Search, select the following from the search field drop-down menus:
- Term: "2135 - Summer Term 2013"
- Session: "Year-Round Cohort Courses"
- Subject/Department: Select your cohort program.
- Click the Quick Search button.
Note: If you're also taking credit classes outside of the year-round cohort programs listed above, select "The Tseng College - Credit" from the Class Search drop-down menu "Session" field.

*Important! Reducing the number of enrolled units may affect your eligibility for Financial Aid and more. Before dropping, review the Information Regarding Change in Program or Schedule and Change in Academic Schedule After Start of Classes.

*If you fail to make your payment in full by the due date, you will be disenrolled from some or all of your classes. Payments made after the deadline will not prevent you from disenrollment.
**A $25.00 late fee is charged to register, starting the first day of a summer session, if you have zero units at the time of registration. The late fee will only be charged once during the entire summer term.
