Dr. Daisy Lemus Receives 2009-2010 Research Fellow Award

Photo of Dr. Daisy LemusI am pleased to announce the selection of Daisy Lemus, PhD, Communication Studies, as the recipient of the 2009-2010 Research Fellow Award for the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication. The College Research Fellow Committee deemed her project, When Planning for Retirement Is Not Enough: Investigating Employee Communication in the Current Economic Landscape, as outstanding among this year¹s entries. Given the current economic climate in the country, this is certainly a timely topic.

On behalf of the College, I would like to congratulate Daisy for this achievement and thank the Committee members--Amani Ismail, John Kephart, Lesley Krane, Alexis Krasilovsky, Liviu Marinescu, and Christine Menzies--for their time and effort.
