Teaching and Reading The Soloist by Steve Lopez

The statue of Beethoven in Pershing Square.

Join faculty colleagues for an hour to share ideas and assignments you can use to teach The Soloist next fall. Choose one session: Tuesday or Wednesday.

Session description:

Get a head start on teaching the 2009-2010 Freshman Common Reading: join other CSUN faculty for an hour to discuss ideas for teaching with The Soloist by Steve Lopez. Free copy of the book to each participant; no need to read in advance (but hard to resist if you take a look at the first few pages!). And whether you can join us or not, check out the CSUN webpage for The Soloist to keep up with the growing list of ideas for teaching the book.

To RSVP, call Academic First Year Experiences in CIELO: x6535 on campus (or 818-677-6535 if you're off-campus)
