The Center's servies are available to students under the Accounting and Information Systems majors, Master of Science in Accountancy and Master of Science in Taxation students and alumni.

The Student Services Center/EOP Satellite in JH 2113 provides academic counseling to students in JH 2113, call (818) 677-3537 or visit http://www.csun.edu/cobaessc. If you have started taking your upper division accounting or information systems classes you may qualify to meet with Dr. Paul Lazarony, Dept Chair, for individual advising. His office hours for students are Monday, Tuesday, 4:00pm-6:00pm. Call (818) 677-2461 or visit the Dept of Accounting & Information Systems office in JH 3123 for more information.
Due to constant changes in deadlines, an up-to-date cheat sheet of all on-campus interview application deadlines will be available ONLY in the Center, which is located in JH2224.
To earn college credit, follow the instructions on the Internship for Credit Fall 2013 Procedure (available under the “Resources” tab of this website). Then, you must fill out the Internship for Credit Fall 2013 Application (also available under the “Resources” tab of this website).
After your application is complete, bring in the required paperwork and documents to the Ernst & Young Center for Careers (JH 2224) for review. If you qualify, you will be assigned a permission number for registration.
It is important that you turn in all items requested before you start the internship to properly and successfully assign your credit; otherwise, it is possible that you may not qualify to get credit for the term in which you are completing your internship.
NOTE: You will need a faculty sponsor within your major. It is recommended that you contact your faculty sponsor with time in advance.
To set up an appointment you can call the office at (818) 677-2979 or you can visit the Ernst & Young Center for Careers office in JH 2224. You will be asked your name, major, expected graduation and reason for appointment.
NOTE: Be sure to sign up with Online Career Services before your appointment date.
Our computer lab consists of two desktop computers that are available for use by accountancy and information systems students for career related research and for applying for jobs. You will need your regular CSUN username and password in order to login to the computers. You may print documents relating to career research and job application including your resume, DPR, transcripts, cover letter, and others as approved.
