(c) Information conveyed in color is also available without color

(h) Markup for two or more logical levels if headers in a table

(n) Structure forms with instructions and cues

Section 508 (k)

A text-only page, with equivalent information or functionality, shall be provided to make a web site comply with the provisions of this part, when compliance cannot be accomplished in any other way. The content of the text-only page shall be updated whenever the primary page changes.

Similar Standards

We advise using Universal Design Principles and all the Section 508 standards from (a) to (j) and (l) to (p) for the design of your web page. Text only pages should be the last resort because if all the universal design principles are followed it, text only pages are no longer necessary.
