Notes

~ Student needs 52 more units (17-18 classes) to finish BA/BS requirement (120 units). These units are most likely to be from their major.

~ Please note that only 15 units of upper-division are from AAS minor and 6 more units from AAS 347 and AAS 390. Student needs 19 more units of upper-division to fulfill the 40 units upper-division requirement (9 of the 40 must be GE).

~ Student who has completed 56 units and has met the lower division writing requirement needs to take an essay exam called the Upper Division Writing Proficiency Examination (WPE). It is recommended to do this prior to earning 90 units (in junior year).

~ It is recommended that the student applies for graduation one year before the expected date of graduation.

~ Student should meet with the advisor to do the graduation check to make sure all requirements will be met for graduation.
