Your enrollment appointment is the earliest date and time that you may begin registering for classes in the upcoming term. Your enrollment appointment displays in myNorthridge and in the SOLAR Student Center during the Registration-by-Appointment period.
Registration periods and dates are published in the Semester Bulletin.
Note: Your enrollment appointment will be printed on the paper Registration Access Mailer that is sent only to eligible NEW students for their first semester of enrollment only. For subsequent semesters, continuing students obtain registration information online in myNorthridge and from the Semester Bulletin.
Log into myNorthridge at www.csun.edu with your
CSUN User ID and Password.
The myNorthridge home page displays.
Locate the Registration section of My Checklist to view:
- Your enrollment appointment date and time
- The maximum number of units in which you may enroll
Other My Checklist items to look for:
- Registration holds - A hold will prevent you from enrolling in classes until you resolve the issue.
You can also view enrollment appointments in the SOLAR Student Center. Click the icon in the Quick Links box.
You are now in the Student Center.
In the Academics section, click the Enrollment Appointments link and follow the prompts.
Your appointment will display in My Checklist and in the Student Center only during the Registration-by-Appointment period.
To return to myNorthridge, select Back To Portal in the red banner, upper right corner.
Back in myNorthridge and My Checklist, the registration message will change during Nonrestrictive Registration, when no appointment is needed and the maximum load is 15 units.
If eligible, you may enroll to repeat a course previously taken at CSUN starting the Thursday before fall or spring classes begin.
