Beginning Fall 2009, students can view their final exam schedule in the SOLAR Student Center. Log into myNorthridge and in the My Path to Graduation box, click Student Center (SOLAR). From the Other Academic pull-down menu, select Exam Schedule.
- Even if no final exam schedule displays for a class in SOLAR, confirm the exam, room, date and time with your instructor.
- Some classes are not automatically assigned a final exam in SOLAR even when one is required.
- Revisit your exam schedule a few weeks before finals to check for updates.
Final Examination Policy
Any student who finds it impossible to take a final examination on the date scheduled must make arrangements in advance with the instructor either to take the examination at another time prior to the deadline for reporting grades, or request that a grade of Incomplete be assigned, and must then follow the regulations concerning the removal of the Incomplete.
No exceptions will be made to these regulations without the written approval of the instructor, the department chair, and the dean of the college in which the course is offered.
Final Examination Dates
- Summer Term 2009: Final examinations are usually scheduled for the last class meeting.
- Fall Semester 2009: Thursday, December 10 through Wednesday, December 16, 2009
- Spring Semester 2010: Monday, May 10 through Saturday, May 15, 2010
