Athletic Participation Rates and Financial Support Data
This disclosure provides information on the number and gender of full-time undergraduates participating in the intercollegiate athletic competitions and on each team. Also included is the information on coaches, coach salaries, and the revenues and expenses associated with each sport. Effective June 1, 2006 additional information may be obtained from Institutional Research.

Campus Security Report
This disclosure provides comprehensive statistics on campus safety and crime for the three most recent calendar years, policies and procedures for reporting crimes, policies concerning the security of and access to campus facilities, policies concerning campus law enforcement, and campus safety and crime prevention programs (including drug, alcohol, and sex offense education programs).
The California State University Chancellor's Office Executive Order 1043 updates the CSU Student Conduct Procedures to disclose the notice to "victims of crimes of violence" regarding the results of the institution's disciplinary proceedings against the alleged perpetrator.

College Portrait
The College Portrait provides an array of data designed to assist prospective undergraduate students in selecting a college that best matches their interests. The Portrait, which is updated annually, includes information on student demographics, admission and graduation rates, the academic programs offered, student-faculty ratio, types and amounts of financial aid received, and the likely costs of attendance.
CSUN and other participating four-year colleges and universities utilizing the College Portrait are participating in a national initiative, the Voluntary System of Accountability. To learn more, please see the article “Cal State Northridge Launches Accountability Site.”
Completion/Graduation Rates for Student Athletes (PDF)
This disclosure provides information on the completion or graduation rate, by race and gender within each sport, of a cohort of certificate- or degree-seeking, full-time undergraduates who received athletically related aid and completed their program within 150% of the normal time for graduation or completion.
The Higher Education Act of 1998 and its 2008 reauthorization require CSUN to provide this information to a student and the student’s parents at the time the institution offers the student athletically-related student aid. Students who did not receive the disclosure should contact the CSUN Athletic Department.
Additionally, starting spring 2010, Cal State Northridge will report graduation data for all full-time student athletes disaggregated by gender, race, ethnicity, Pell Grant status, and FFEL or Direct loan status (Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, § 485(a)(7)(A)(i)).

Drug Violations and Consequences
This disclosure provides students upon enrollment a notice of the consequences of a drug conviction on their Title IV financial aid. Students subsequently convicted for a drug offense will lose their eligibility for federal financial assistance.

Immigration Requirements for Licensure

Missing Student Information
CSUN is currently developing a missing student notification policy and procedures for on-campus residents in compliance with HEOA § 485(j). Among other provisions, the policy allows students to designate a confidential contact to be notified if they are determined missing for more than 24 hours.

Teacher Preparation Programs
Annual Report Card on California Teacher Preparation Programs for the Academic Year 2007-08
This report, prepared by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and released October 5, 2009, is required by Title II of the 199 Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. It is the ninth annual report of its kind and includes a description of the credential requirements to teach in California public schools. In addition, it includes qualitative and quantitative information on teacher preparation programs and pass-rate data for all examinations used by the state for credentialing purposes. Data for CSU, Northridge teacher preparation programs are reported on pages B-203 through B-210 (PDF pages 267-274).

Textbook Information
Beginning January 2010, the CSUN online Schedule of Classes will display, to the maximum extent practicable, the following information for each class section: the International Standards Book Number (ISBN) and retail price for required and recommended textbooks and supplemental materials.

Transfer Course Information
Transferable courses are those designated for baccalaureate credit by the regionally accredited college or university offering the courses and accepted as such by the campus to which the applicant seeks admission. Review the transfer credit policy for the number of units that can be transferred to CSUN and meet degree requirements.
Voter Registration
The Office of the Secretary of State and the University are committed to making voter information forms and online registration available.
Withdrawal from the Institution
Students withdrawing before or during the Late Registration Period of an academic term or semester should use the online Student Center (SOLAR) by logging into the myNorthridge Portal.
