E-mail is the official communication of the California State University, Northridge. It is your responsibility as a student to activate and monitor your university e-mail account or miss important information about enrollment status, financial aid, fees, registration, and more. If you prefer an alternate e-mail address, you can have your CSUN e-mail forwarded to it.

Using the "Activate Your CSUN User ID and Password Today" letter, create your CSUN account.
Access your e-mail account regularly

Make sure your CSUN application file is complete.
The items CSUN needs from you include:
Official college transcripts of new coursework taken after last enrollment at CSUN
Provide work-in-progress, if applicable
Application Fee
If CSUN attendance was before 1992, and official transcripts for transfer courses had been submitted, new transcripts will need to be submitted.
Send required items to: California State University, Northridge; Admissions and Records; 18111 Nordhoff Street; Northridge, CA 91330-8207.
You can view the status of your application online and check for missing items. Using Internet Explorer browser version 6.0 or higher, log into myNorthridge at www.csun.edu with your CSUN User ID and Password. Then select My Path to Graduation >View Application Status >Detail

Students Disqualified in Last Semester at CSUN
Use SOLAR Self Service to determine if the items below are required:
Official college transcripts of new coursework taken after last enrollment at CSUN
Provide work-in-progress, if applicable
Submit a completed Previously Disqualified Questionnaire form to Admissions and Records
Application Fee
If CSUN attendance was before 1992, and official transcripts for transfer courses had been submitted, new transcripts will need to be submitted.
