Office of Admissions and Records

Welcome to International Admissions and Evaluations at Cal State Northridge.
Our office is committed to serving the needs of applicants from all over the world. Students from over 87 countries join our student body of over 35,000 to create a vibrant international campus in the multicultural city of Northridge. Northridge is located in the sunny San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles. We are within a 30-minute drive of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, Pacific Ocean Beaches, Santa Monica and downtown Los Angeles shopping centers.
Our international admissions staff assists prospective students with questions concerning their application status, evaluates academic records for undergraduate and graduate applicants, and issues notices of eligibility. The office is also responsible for the issuance of the initial form I-20 or DS 2019 which will enable the applicant to study in the United States on an F1 or a J1 visa for a period of time specific to their degree objective.
