How to Search for Classes

1. Class Search in SOLAR - If you have a CSUN account, log into the myNorthridge Portal on the CSUN home page and, in the My Path to Graduation box, click Class Search.
2. Student Center (SOLAR) - Search for classes by meeting day and time and add classes after your enrollment appointment has arrived. Log into myNorthridge and in the My Path to Graduation box, select Student Center (SOLAR) > Enroll in a Class.
3. Guest Class Search - Guests may view CSUN course offerings here. No login is required.
4. Open Classes List - View a list of open (PDF) classes for Spring 2010. The list does not include classes that require department consent.
5. Archive Schedule of Classes - View, download or print Adobe PDF or Word documents for past summer guides, final exam schedules, and schedule adjustment charts. Note: Use SOLAR Class Search to view current courses.
6. Search by Category - Use the Class Search "Additional Category" pull-down menu to find classes in these categories:

• Accelerated and PACE Courses
• Community Service Learning
• Experimental and Selected Topics
• Developmental Math, Reading, and Writing
• Freshman Connection Courses
• GE Plan C or R
• Interdisciplinary Courses
• Online Courses
• UNIV 60 - Supplemental Instruction

Category search is also possible in the SOLAR Student Center. In Enroll in a Class, use "Additional Search Criteria."
