My CheckList is your personal list of requirements to complete the application process.The list tells you what’s missing—your Incomplete Tasks. It also confirms what CSUN has received and evaluatedyour Completed Tasks.


Step 1

Log into myNorthridge at www.csun.edu with your CSUN User ID and Password.

Step 2

Your myNorthridge page displays.

To view My CheckList, click the Applicant link in the upper right under the banner.

Your myNorthridge Applicant page displays. Locate My CheckList.

Note: The page display may vary depending on your student level
(e.g., freshman, transfer student).

My CheckList has four sections:

  • Status
  • Incomplete Tasks
  • Completed Tasks
  • Resources

Step 4

The Status section of My CheckList displays your:

  • Academic career and level
  • Semester applied for
  • Residency status
  • Academic plan (major)
  • Application status*
  • Intent to Register status (first-time freshmen and new or returning transfer students onlysee Intent to Register tutorial)

*Received, Provisionally Admitted, etc. Admission is provisional pending verification of the academic information self reported on your CSU Mentor application.

Step 5

The Incomplete Tasks section lists the items (e.g., transcripts, test scores) required to complete your application process.

Contact the Klotz Student Health Center for immunization requirements.

Notes:

  • Due dates display in red.
  • Freshmen must take the ELM/EPT tests (or be exempt) no later than the June 19, 2010 test date. For details and online test registration, go to the CSUN Testing center website.

While not required for CSUN admission, the Math Placement Test (MPT) and Chemistry Placement Test (CPT) are required for some majors:

  • MPT - Required to enroll in MATH 103, 104, 105, 150A, or 255A
  • CPT - Required to enroll in CHEM 101/101L

Step 6

In this image, My CheckList displays both Incomplete and Completed Tasks for an individual freshman.

Note: These sections will display only when one or more items are incomplete or completed.

Step 7

The Completed Tasks section of My CheckList confirms the items you have already provided and that CSUN has received and evaluated.
