INTERDISCIPLINARY GERONTOLOGY PROGRAM
 
At CSUN, students can choose between the Minor or University Certificate in Gerontology. The minor is designed for undergraduates whereas the certificate program is for individuals who already have a bachelor's degree or who are in a graduate program.
 
Both programs meet the Standards and Guidelines for Gerontology Programs recommended by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education and are similar in their requirements.

OTHER DEGREE OPTIONS:
The coordinator of the program can assist any student interested in the degree options listed below.
Special Major in Gerontology: Undergraduate students who want to major in gerontology and who have less than 80 undergraduate units can apply for a special major in gerontology.
 
Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Degree in Gerontology: Graduate students seeking a degree in gerontology can apply for an interdisciplinary studies major and devise a program with a concentration in gerontology.
