Corporate (Ir)Responsibility
- California Anti-SLAPP Project
SLAPPs are "Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation. Truly "frivolous" lawsuits that corporations file against people who are brave enough to criticize them. Another version of CASP is here.

It's only corporate greed that keeps the H. B. Fuller Company from doing something to make their product safer. Thousands of Latin American children have become addicted to the noxious fumes of the company's glue. Also see the Special on Latin American Glue Abuse from the Star Tribune.

- Corporate Propaganda
Great site exposing some of the lies and abuses of copyright law in the U.S., focusing on truly frivolous lawsuits by corporations against web sites. In 1934 legislation was passed that represented a wholesale giveaway of the public consciousness and national imagination to the corporate elite. It is high time for the public to take it back!

- A little bit of good news! Motorola Stops Land Mine Chip Sales:
Motorola chips (like the one in my Mac) are most often the ones found in the American- and Chinese- made land mines which are responsible for death and maiming on an international scale. While Motorola's decision will do little besides improve their PR until truly significant public pressure is put on the governments and commercial interests responsible for mining worldwide, it is at least a brief gesture in the direction of corporate responsibility.
