Emily L. Paramonova holds an M.F.A. in Speech & Drama from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., her home town. I came to Los Angeles from teaching speech, small group communication, argumentation, & political science at Bay area colleges for 6 years. I was an AEA regional theatre actress for 25 years, performing all over the U.S., Russia, & Uzbekistan. I also taught acting and theatre classes in colleges during my acting career. Having lived and acted in the former Soviet Union for 2 years as an American actress, I focus my interest on the issues surrounding cultural diversity and accommodation to different cultures. As an adjunct, I teach at CSUN and at various other colleges in the area.
