I was born and raised right here in Los Angeles, CA. For the first 14 years of my career, I implemented networks for health care and manufacturing companies. I also owned my own business providing internet access and web site design. For the last 12 years, I have taught elementary autistic children, business and law courses at a private college, and more recently, communication courses such as intercultural, interpersonal, public address, research methodologies & analysis, media & social change, and theory. I am currently developing a cultural immersion program in Taiwan. And, my current research includes inside/outside the online/offline classroom… what’s with the borderless labels?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling around the world, playing with my Labrador, hiking/biking/skiing in high altitudes, watching documentaries, exercising, and eating organic foods grown in my garden and/or fair traded. Four of many hobbies include designing a resource/energy efficient home, photography, writing scripts for the stage, and watching 30 Days…. And well, yes, I am still a loyal Dodger (player) fan.
