How it all began...

Twenty-eight summers ago, John Slevcove, his sons Tim and Mark, and two other friends challenged Stan Sulimoff, his daughter Christy and their three Biola Bobs guests to V-Ball at the staff court. Steve Levoe and some bad boys from his cabin asked if they could join in, as well. What developed was a two day tourney setup by the "commish" John Slevcove. His creative and artistic genius flowed through the competition and highlighted the awards banquet which followed. Early the next morning, everyone drove up to Inspiration Point, made pancakes and talked about the great time we experienced together. It's been a happening event ever since.
What was the glue in those first years? The beautiful setting and spiritual influence of Hume Lake, high calibre competition, memorable plays, humorous gag awards, annual renewing of long term friendships, nightly cabin games, capture the flag at the cove, Big Daddy Burgers & shakes, and a parting promise, "We'll see you again next year."
