Women's Studies Student Association

Students at a candlelight vigil

Being a member of the Women's Studies Student Association (WSSA) is a great way for Women's Studies students to contribute to the CSUN campus and find support and camaraderie among their fellow Women's Studies students.

It also looks great on any resume! Being a member of WSSA entails participation in one meeting per week, contributing ideas for activities, and helping with the activities as each individual student is able.

The goal of the Women's Studies Student Association is to organize Women's Studies-related events, activities, career guidance, and campaigns to raise awareness among women and men on the CSUN campus about current women's issues. We are looking for students who want to participate in WSSA in this academic year.

WSSA meetings are held every second Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Feb. 6, 2008 is our first meeting for the semester.
