Research Interests:

My background is in differential equations and harmonic analysis. More recently, data science has captured my interest. I am the principal investigator of the National Science Foundation/CSUN Data Science program that prepares students to enter the technical workforce as data scientists. The program includes a boot camp between July 6 and August 14, 2020, a two-semester-long data science research experience, career workshops, and seminars with data science practitioners during the 2020-2021 academic year. I have also enjoyed teaching math in Rwanda and Kenya.
