Fig. 3e Swapped myrmekite grains (double row, center) occur on the boundary between two differently oriented perthitic K-feldspar crystals, (K1, blue purple, top and K2, violet with orange lamellae, bottom). Notice that the albite-twinning plane (010) of the top row plagioclase of myrmekie (containing yellow quartz vermicules) is nearly perpendicular to the cleavage (001) of the K-feldspar K2 (bottom, on other side of the lower row of myrmekite grains), indicating the same orientation that K2 and the upper myrmekite have.
