As seen with a reduced diaphragm, a Becki line divides isolated albite remnants into two parts: an inner nucleus (Ab1; An 6-8 ?) and an outer rim (Ab1"; An ~0). The inner nucleus is metasomatic residue of perthitic lamella of the replaced K-feldspar, whereas the outer albite rim is later formed around the residue by the albite nibble replacement of K-feldspar. Arrows show the growth directions of nibble albitization. Scale bar = 0.1 mm.
