Supervised Field Experience (SED 554) &
Student Teaching (SED555) in Science

Seminar - 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Thursdays

We have made tentative field experience and student teaching assignments . Please review this information and make corrections directly on the assignments page. When you are done please put your initials in column "O" to indicate that you have reviewed this information.

Supervised Field Experience (554)

  1. Review the student teaching handbook and master teacher responsibilities for 554.
  2. Contact your master teacher via email and phone and arrange for an time where you can discuss your field experience. The telephone number of the school is on this page. Remember that in a few instances we do not have final confirmation, so please mention that we are proposing this assignment, and apologize for us if we have not yet been able to establish direct contact.
  3. Acquire a copy of the teacher's edition of the book you are using so that you may review it prior to the beginning of the semester
  4. Observe your master teacher while teaching a lesson at least two times prior to the completion of this semester.
  5. Please show your master teacher the website for SED 554.

Student Teaching (555)

  1. Review the student teaching handbook and master teacher responsibilities for 555.
