Dance Statement

As I move through the path of life I have found that there
has been one constant that has helped me-movement. Dance has been
an integral part of my personal and spiritual development. It has
been a tool for my release of emotions and energy. Whenever I am sad
I dance. Whenever I am happy I dance. Whenever I feel anything
in between I dance.
Mind, body, and spirit are all strongly connected through
movement. Your mind becomes clear of all bad energy when you connect
movement with music. Your body heals itself when you utilize dance
as a form of exercise. Your spirit is empowered and inspired by your
clearing mind and healing body. All three combine in their gentle
love making while you dance. This powerful experience may give different
results for every individual, but one thing is constant- it’s benefits.
The benefit of movement is astounding including increased dexterity and they
increase with every experience you have with it.
Dancing has helped me grow into the individual that I am
today. Dancing has been an important part of the community that surrounds
us.
Dance has been used as a form of prayer. Dance
has been a way to pass along stories from past to future generations.
Dance has been used by many as a vehicle to call upon the spirits or God(s).
Dance has been a way to express oneself and to connect with oneself.
Dance has been a way to connect with others and an important part of society
at large and it’s growth.
Once you have the experience of movement with music, your
life is changed for the better and it last forever.
