Dress: No jeans, t-shirts or tennis shoes by any of the performers! Dress appropriately.
SENIOR RECITAL JURY
What is Required?
1. Students must schedule and pass the recital jury before scheduling the recital date. Each recital jury must be scheduled in advance with the appropriate Applied Area Coordinator. (Teacher will assist their students to arrange this).
When does it need to be done?
2. There are (3) "windows of opportunity" to take a recital jury a. The semester prior, at a time set aside during juries; b. At a prearranged time during the week prior to the beginning of classes; or c. During weeks 1-7 of the semester in which the recital is anticipated.
How does a student get a recital date?
3. After the recital jury has been passed, Public Affairs office (room 116D) will allocate and schedule student recital dates on a "first come, first serve" basis. There is a strict limitation on the number of recitals that can be scheduled during the last 2 weeks of any semester.
For scheduling senior recital contact Guy Fabre email: guy.fabre@csun.edu
For forms, go to: http://www.csun.edu/music/ student_resources/index.html
Note: The previous policy of no recitals being scheduled after the last day or classes remains in effect. (The weekend following juries may be scheduled in the event that all previous dates have been taken).
»ADVISING (ALL JAZZ MAJORS)
Advising dates and times will be posted on the "jazz board" outside of room 159 at the end of each semester. Transfer or prospective students may contact Matt Harris directly for dates and times.

You will not be able to register for classes until you have been advised!
