Excellence in Science Funds Scholarschip
Each semester the Mathematics Department will give up to two awards of
$2,000 to outstanding Graduate Students in Mathematics. This award is
for full-time Graduate Students who satisfy all Mathematics Department
requirements for classification at the time of application, have a
minmum
GPA of 3.8 in all graduate level work and be within a year of finishing
their degree. The award can be given in addition to any existing
financial
support.
To apply, submit a filled out application form
and two recent letters of recommendation addressing the students
academic progress in the Graduate Program at CSUN. The selection of
awards will be made by the graduate committee and will be based on
academic merit as indicated by the student's record and the letters of
recommendation.
The deadline for applications is the last day of the semester.
Applications shall be turned in to the Mathematics Department Office
(FOB 114).
